School Uniform

School Uniform

At Budapest British International Academy, we believe that wearing a school uniform promotes pride in appearance, a sense of belonging, and a shared school identity. All students are required to wear the BBIA uniform, which is designed to be smart, comfortable, and appropriate for school life.

Uniform Guidelines

Students must follow the uniform code and wear it properly each day. Items must be clearly marked with the student’s name, and students arriving out of uniform may be asked to return home to change.

We offer distinct uniform sets for boys and girls from Reception to Year 9, and updated attire for students from Year 10 and above. Uniforms include items such as:

Shirts

White collared shirts or polo shirts

Bottoms

Plain navy trousers, skirts, or dresses (no jeans, leggings, or tracksuits)

Knitwear

Navy knitwear and cardigans

Shoes

Plain dark leather shoes (trainers are not allowed)

Ties

Ties (required from Year 10 and above)

Tailored Options

Tailored options for students with dietary or religious clothing preferences

Girls also have the option of wearing a skirt or trousers. Tights, socks, and shoes must follow the colour and style specifications provided in the uniform policy.

PE Kit

All students must also have a PE kit that includes:

T-Shirt

White crew-neck T-shirt

Bottoms

Navy blue tracksuit bottoms or shorts

Hoodie

Navy hoodie (optional but no other hoodies are allowed)

Trainers

Trainers (any colour)
